Stamps make art
We recently reported on an artist who works with Trodat stamps. But you don't have to look into the distance - we also have a stamp artist among us in our own ranks.
Trotec employee Jarek Polanski has been involved in stamp art for years. He creates stamped masterpieces using stamps of different sizes and shapes. Jarek worked in a stamp shop in Wels, producing individualized stamps and making test impressions. Back then he already had the idea of using the stamp impression artistically. His enthusiasm for laser technology led him to Trotec in 2010. A few years later he implemented his idea to depict Walter Just - the founder of Trodat - on a stamped image. “What better way to honor a man who has spent his entire life stamping than to portray him through his product,” says Jarek.
