Over a period of four days TÜV-Austria Cert GmbH, as the audit partners, visited a total of 21 departments and sectors at the companies Trodat Produktions GmbH, Trodat GmbH and Trotec Laser GmbH. In total, the external auditors spent 47 hours conducting audits at the plants in order to reach a complete and highly meaningful result.
In the course of the certification, an examination was carried out at the three companies of the systems which go together to create an integrated management system (IMS). The two external auditors found no systematic or system-relevant deviations with regard to the existing certifications, and, in fact, the positive further development of the integrated management system was particularly emphasized.
Detailed results from all the sectors audited, as well as assessments and suggestions for improvement were summarized in the form of an audit report. The new certificates issued as a result of the successful procedure are available for viewing on the company Website.
Advantages of an IMS Integrated Management System
Since 1996 Trodat, and later also Trotec, have been operating a quality management system. Over the years additional systems have been introduced and certified, for the Environment (ISO 14001, 2008), for Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001, 2011), and for Energy (ISO 50001, 2013). In order for the systems to be applied as efficiently as possible, they were merged in 2013 to create one IMS.
A major advantage of an IMS lies in the fact that internal operational sequences are constantly undergoing further development, which in turn ensures a continual increase in efficiency. With the IMS, the Trodat Trotec Group proves that the applicable national and international provisions of the law are being respected and maintained, and that the corporate group is a serious partner for long-term economic co-operation.
